 Life Drawing

Every Wednesday evening from 6 - 9pm life drawing is offered with a variety of different models both clothes and nude. There are 8 drawing benches available and several drawing boards. Bring your own media. Poses begin with 3 or 4 minute action poses, move to 10 and 20 minutes. The second and third hours are single poses. We can decide to do longer poses.

This is an informal group of drawers of all levels from beginners to professionals. The models are paid $22 an hour. We are always looking for models, both experienced and newbies. The fee to draw is $15 per session or 4 sessions for $40.

For information and to reserve a spot or confirm the class will happen text Nancy at (808)-205-1389 or check on Instagram

 Keiki Paintouts

Studio Lele is collaborating with Lahaina Arts Guild to hold bimonthly “Paintouts” (outdoor plein air painting sessions) for West Maui students in all our schools and home schooled. Students from 4th through 12th grades are welcome unaccompanied by high school siblings or parents.

Younger students may also sign up if they have an older person with them. Parents of older children are welcome to stay and enjoy the day as well. Each signed up student will get lunch and snacks, art supplies to use and instruction.

We will choose a variety of venues in West Maui and include cultural and environmental instruction about our locations. Painting will be done with tempera paints which are non toxic and  washable.

This is a first come first served event and has proven very popular. We limit the number of painters to thirty per session. Students may apply for more than one session. Applications are available here online and with art teachers. For information on our next Paintout check our upcoming blog page or Instagram.
